An artist panel exploring photographic art as a tool to make socially relevant and evocative commentary will be held Sunday, May 22nd at 2pm. The four-person panel will be lead by Museum of Photographic Arts President, John Mullen, joined by JTGOCA and ARTCO gallerist, Simon Melchers. Through the viewpoints and works of two modern-day artists — French photojournalist and artist Stephan Gladieu, whose works create the newest JTGOCA exhibition entitled THROUGH THEIR EYES, and photographer and cinematographer Gordon Clark, whose work was featured in the inaugural EMERGENCE exhibition, the panel discussion will focus on the significance of documentary photography and the various methods for utilizing it in today’s world.
